by NorthWoods Stewardship Center, Vermont River Conservancy, Vermont Department of Forest Parks and Recreation, Wilderness Map Company
The Wilderness Map Company’s 2017 WaterProof Recreation Map and Guide is a complete and river-ready resource for your river adventures. This map covers the river from its headwaters south for 280 miles to the Massachusetts border, and includes all access points, campsites, portage trails, and information on natural and cultural history.
Developed by the NorthWoods Stewardship Center, the Vermont River Conservancy, and the Vermont Department of Forest Parks and Recreation in partnership with the award winning Wilderness Map Company, this beautiful folding map breaks the river into 10 reaches. Topographical information is shown with GPS coordinates listed for many waypoints, making it useful to canoeists, kayakers, boaters, fishermen, bird lovers, bicyclists, hikers and automobile tourists.
This detailed map of the Vermont and New Hampshire part of the river is an excellent companion to CRC’s book The Connecticut River Boating Guide: Source to Sea.
