Three out of four of our watershed states have been working to update the bottle bill. How do we value what we now call trash?

Plastics and glass bottles are always among the most found trash items during CRC’s annual Source to Sea Cleanup. Join us to discuss recent and potential updates to the bottle bills in VT, MA and CT.  We’ll consider recent legislation in all three states and discuss long-term solutions to prevent our rivers from getting trashed in the first place. Let’s update these bottle bills for cleaner rivers.

Hear from Jim McCullough – VT State legislator representing Chittenden County and Vice Chair of the VT House Committee on Natural Resources, Fish, and Wildlife; Lauren Fernandez – Zero Waste Policy Analyst at Conservation Law Foundation; and CRC’s own River Stewards – Kathy Urffer, Andrea Donlon, and Kelsey Wentling.
