We have several new staff on board who are eager to meet you! / ¡Tenemos varios empleados nuevos a bordo que están ansiosos por conocerte!

Our spring Meet & Greets are an opportunity to interact with your River Steward(s), other CRC staff, and community members who also care about rivers. Our River Stewards engage in public advocacy in support of CRC’s mission and collaborate with partners across all four states to protect and serve the River. This event will include a presentation of CRC’s history and anticipated future, a conversation with the River Steward in your region, and an opportunity to share your thoughts and get involved in river conservation. Light refreshments will be served.

About Kelsey (she/her):

Kelsey got started with CRC in 2019 as a volunteer and then as staff assisting with Source to Sea Cleanup. Prior to joining CRC, Kelsey analyzed how emerging markets might influence Massachusetts’ climate goals, taught a course on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and worked as an AmeriCorps volunteer and outdoor science educator.

Kelsey holds an M.S. in Environmental Conservation from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Her research explored the interface of science and policy in transboundary river basins, using case studies to identify ways to promote the use of science in management decisions. She enjoys running around on the Ultimate Frisbee field, walking through the woods, and standing guard over various fermentation experiments in the kitchen.

Sobre Kelsey (ella):

Kelsey comenzó con CRC en 2019 como voluntaria y luego como personal que ayudaba con Source to Sea Cleanup. Antes de unirse a CRC, Kelsey analizó cómo los mercados emergentes podrían influir en los objetivos climáticos de Massachusetts, impartió un curso sobre los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de las Naciones Unidas y trabajó como voluntaria de AmeriCorps y educadora de ciencias al aire libre.

Kelsey tiene una Maestría (M.S.) en Conservación Ambiental de la Universidad de Massachusetts Amherst.
