Paddle With Your River Steward – Brattleboro, VT to Hinsdale, NH

Join the Brattleboro Outing Club and your NH/VT River Steward, Kathy Urffer to paddle the Connecticut River from Brattleboro, VT to Hinsdale, NH. Learn about the relicensing of the Wilder, Bellows Falls and Vernon Dams, and the future of possible changes to the river flows for the next 40 years. We will take a break to visit the Wantastiquet campsite – part of the Connecticut River Paddlers Trail – and will stop at an island for lunch.
This is an approximately 6-mile one way trip involving carpool shuttling. We will end the day at the Marina Restaurant where libations and snacks are available for purchase.
Bring your own boat, lunch, and plenty of water.
