Nitrogen is causing a dead zone in the Long Island Sound. Come learn about efforts to identify how much is coming from NH and VT, and federal requirements to reduce the impact.
This event is part of the Riverwide Speaker Series organized by the Connecticut River Joint Commissions. Come hear from Richard Friesner (NEIWPCC) and James Ammerman (Long Island Sound Study) about the modeling and regulatory work being done, and Ron Rhodes (Connecticut River Conservancy) about restoration efforts.
