Learn to Kayak – Clinic & Celebration

CRC is joining hands (and paddles!) with Adventure East and the Sunderland Library for a fun kayak clinic and celebration of the opening of the library’s boat loan program. Learn basic kayaking skills and safety with Adventure East with ample time to practice what you learn on land and on the river. CRC staff will be on hand to share clean water concerns, answer questions, and invite you to volunteer with us!
There is an optional “after-party” at the headquarters of Adventure East, for pizza and beer with Library, AE and CRC staff to celebrate the library’s new Kayak Loan Program.
Skill Level: Beginner, no kayaking experience necessary.
This is primarily an adult clinic, but we welcome youth 13+ if accompanied by a parent/guardian.
Space is Limited to 15 Participants.
