The New England Green River Marathon is one of the most beautiful races in New England. Starting in Marlboro, Vermont and following the course of the Green River through an 1870’s covered bridge, and ending with a finish-line celebration in the shade of maple trees at Greenfield Community College in Massachusetts. This USATF-certified (Certification MA18003JK) course has a net 1,400 foot drop over a rolling, downhill course that has seen many personal best and Boston qualifying times for well-trained runners.

The race is presented by Natural High Running Company LLC, in support of the Sugarloaf Mountain Athletic Club and Connecticut River Conservancy. Natural High Running was created by runners Laure and Tom Van den Broeck Raffensperger (the founders of the New England Green River Marathon) to ensure that the race is sustainable and continues to fulfill our vision of a small, supportive, community race. CRC is proud to be one of the recipients of the proceeds from this incredible race.

While the race is FULL, there is no limited to the amount of spectators who can enjoy watching these athletes make their way over the finish line!

Come on out to cheer on the runners, enjoy local food trucks, beer, & ice cream, and support your local watershed!
