Fish Migration Bicycle Parade – Cancelled

CANCELLED! Due to the anticipated high heat and humidity this Saturday, the Fish Migration Bicycle Parade in Unionville, CT has been cancelled. Please join us for other events coming up!
This World Fish Migration Day, celebrate the annual return of fish to Connecticut rivers with a migration of your own! Dress up yourself and/or your bicycle as your favorite fish and join our parade on the beautiful Farmington River Trail. The event will start with tables and information provided by the event partners (the Farmington River Watershed Association, Bike New Britain, Bike Walk Farmington, Bike Walk Avon and Farmington Valley Trails Council) and will then transition to the ride along a flat stretch of trail. The ride will be at a social pace, riding 4 miles out to the Collinsville parking lot, where we will hear form a guest speaker about the annual migration of fish and barriers they face during their journey; the speaker will begin at 11:15. Finally we will bike back along the path to finish out the parade and celebration.
