What do your rivers mean to you? The Connecticut River Watershed Council, in partnership with Art and Dialogue, has gathered your river stories and your hopes and dreams for the future of our rivers. Participants young and old wrote personal notes on sculpted pieces of colored paper that are transformed into a massive and inspiring community art installation. Assembled in a flowing wall display, it speaks of the Connecticut River being cleaner and hydropower greener. All of these stories will be submitted as official public comment to the government hydroelectricity relicensing agencies.

It’s not too late to have a say! You can add your voice to the river of words at the River Garden. You can also invite us to your group for this FREE presentation. For more information, contact Colleen Bent, at cbent@ctriver.org or 413-772-2020 ext.206. Funding generously provided by the Putnam Foundation.
