A discussion of materials & techniques for painting outdoors will be ongoing. Jamie will work individually with each participant. All skill levels & methods are welcome. A portion of the proceeds of this event will benefit the Connecticut River Watershed Council. Rain date: Sunday, July 24.

What is En plein air, or plein air painting? This phrase is borrowed from the French, meaning “open (in full) air.” It is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors.

About the Instructor: Jamie Young
Expressionist Landscape Painter
Jaime’s art has been displayed at numerous museums and private galleries. Her series “Chaos and Light” will be on exhibit at the Brattleboro Museum from June 24 through October 23, 2016.
Jamie’s work is included in several corporate collections, including Baystate Medical Center, BankOne, Ford World Headquarters, and the Hyatt Regency (Detroit).
