Silt Fence Removal Workday

Join CRC with some shovels to remove a silt fence at a floodplain restoration site in Guilford, VT. You can learn about this project and our other restoration efforts. We need a few hands for a couple of hours to dig out a silt fence that was left in place after the project was done. More hands will make lighter work!
Need to Know:
This workday is appropriate for ages 13 and older. The site is on private property and reached via a walk of about 700 feet over uneven ground with a short hill.
If you have a shovel, please bring it.
Come dressed to get dirty and wear boots or closed toe shoes.
It will likely be chilly, so definitely bring or wear layers. Bring water and bug spray.
CRC will provide some coffee and donuts.
