The Connecticut River Conservancy (CRC) seeks motivated individuals to assist with our Community Science program
that manages European Water Chestnut in the Connecticut River Watershed in Massachusetts.
The ideal candidates will have a passion for the environment, have paddling experience, and enjoy recruiting and
managing volunteers. These interns will be responsible for on-water volunteer pull events in Massachusetts, as well as data collection and maintenance.
The positions are supervised by seasonal managers and require a valid driver’s license and own vehicle. Work
occurs in the evening and on weekends and begins in early June and continues through early August. A boat is
provided as needed. Positions come with a stipend.
Requirements
- Interest in river ecology and stewardship
- Ability and interest in getting out on the river
- A valid driver’s license and a vehicle
